EXERCISE
In this exercise we used the analogy of gems to describe Divine Revelation. In the words of Baha’u’llah, “The Great Being saith: Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom.

The gems in this reference can have many associations, but certainly the gems of virtue are among them.

Consider each virtue as a gem. Discuss how virtues connect with one another. For example, how does honesty connect with other virtues?

EXTRA CHALLENGE: From your own knowledge or through study of the life of 'Abdu'l-Baha, describe in a short essay or to the group a story of the Master illustrating His exemplary expression of virtue.
